Donald P. Curtis
Don and I met at Monroe County Community College in the late 80s. We have been invloved in several theatrical productions together and even wrote an original sketch comedy show called "It's a Mad World After All." Don and I quickly gained a reputation on the college campus as "the wacky guys". A title we proudly still maintain to this date. As this production will prove. Don portrays circus owner Bob Mahonney in Bill's Imaginary Tale.
James Worline
Jim is a great actor and a great friend. We've known each other since Jr. High School. He brings a wackiness to his characters that even I never saw coming. When the time came for me to wed my lovely bride, Jim was my best man. Then, shortly after, it was my turn to be his! He is truly a comedic force to reckoned with. Jim portrays Major Undertaking.
Joe Inman
"Bill" marks the acting debute of Joe Inman. He has appeared in my other productions, but never as a featured player. This is also the first time Joe has had dialog in one of my productions. I met Joe at Monroe County Community College in a business class. We shared a love of Monty Python that stills thrives today. Joe portrays Mr. Missus, one of Bill's former teachers.
John Pasko (A.K.A. The Foul One.)
John is widely regarded as the heart and soul of "Bill". Not by me, but I'm sure by someone who doesn't know him well. He is that unique person who can make any character seem creepy. Even when they're not supposed to be. I guess that's why I cast him in these roles. We met at Monroe County Community College in the late 80s. We have performed together in many theatrical productions throughout the years. John portrays Ivan "Tex" Grinchov.
Larry Rusinsky
In the above photo, Larry is wearing a fez. In "Bill", he does not wear a fez. Such is the enigma known as Larry. We met at The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre during a production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He portrays Spanky Mankowitz.
Lauren Pillarelli
Lauren gained county-wide fame as Nebula Jones in my previous video production, "I Was A Cartoon Stunt-Man". She's still trying to live it down. (Keep tryin' pal.) We met through a mutual former-friend in Monroe, Michigan about 10 years ago. (Man, I'm old.) Lauren portrays Mrs. Mistur, one of Bill's former teachers.
Liz Elliott
Liz, as well as being my lovely wife, is a fine actress. She possesses the elements of class and charm that a project such as this so desperately needs. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. The project is still freakishly dissjointed and utterly abstract. (Exactly how I wanted it.) We met at The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre during a production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Soon after, we were married on the very stage where we first met. Liz portrays Bill's mother Byron.
Sherry Sidick
When Sherry told me she was moving to L.A. to be an actress, I didn't flinch. It seemed like such a natural choice for her to make. We met at The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre during a production of You Can't Take it with You. She is extremely talented and very clever with the written word. It was a pleasure working with her. Sherry portrays Bill's girlfriend Phyllis Cumquat.
Steve Elliott
(Hey! That's me!) I wrote and directed "Bill" over a period of about a year in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It was a joy to work with everyone involved. I hope I can bring some attention to the project out here in L.A., and properly thank all those who made it possible. I portrayed the narrator of Bill's Imaginary Tale.
Troy D. Sill
Troy is currently enrolled at The Actor's Studio in New York. We met at The Ann Arbor Civic Theatre during a production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He is a fine comedic talent with impecable timing. He also knows all the lines to the movie "Arthur", nearly as well as I do. He portrays Bill's father Margret.
The Crew included:
Christine Hutchins: Computer Graphic Artist
Dean Houser: Musical Genius
&
Alan McNeely: Master Editing Wizard
My heart-felt thanks to everyone who brought Bill to life.
